Fraud Notice
The name of an investment firm has value to people who want to misuse it. This notice sets out plainly what Seven Measures does and does not do, so that anything inconsistent with it can be recognised for what it is.
What the firm does not do
Seven Measures does not accept outside investment capital, manage money or accounts for third parties, or provide investment advisory services. It invests its own capital, for its own account, and nothing else.
The firm does not solicit investment. It does not cold-call, message, or email anyone about an investment opportunity. It does not promote funds, products, or schemes, advertise or forecast returns, operate referral, affiliate, or introducer arrangements, or ask anyone to send money, cryptocurrency, banking details, or account credentials for any reason.
How to recognise a misuse of the name
Treat as fraudulent any approach that invites you to invest with Seven Measures, guarantees or forecasts a return, shows you an account statement, portfolio, or trading dashboard in the firm’s name, or asks you to make a payment or transfer. It does not come from the firm, whatever names, logos, documents, registration numbers, or website it displays.
The same applies to any message sent from an address that is not on sevenmeasures.com, to any social media, messaging, or chat account other than the accounts linked from this website, and to any job offer that asks you to pay a fee, buy equipment, or receive and pass on funds.
Verifying a communication
Correspondence from the firm comes only from an address on sevenmeasures.com. The addresses the firm publishes are [email protected] for general correspondence and [email protected] for privacy requests and legal notices. Both are shown on this website.
Any account the firm operates is linked from this website. If you are unsure whether something is genuine, do not reply to it, do not open its attachments, and do not follow its links. Write to one of those addresses separately, in a message you compose yourself, and ask.
Reporting it
Suspected misuse of the Seven Measures name can be reported to [email protected]. Please include the complete message with its headers, along with any addresses, links, documents, or account names involved.
If money has already been sent, contact your bank or payment provider first, then report the matter to the police or the financial regulator in your jurisdiction. Reporting it to the firm does not recover funds, and the firm has no ability to reverse a payment made to somebody else.
No liability for misuse
Seven Measures LLC is not responsible for any loss arising from communications, documents, websites, applications, or accounts that it did not issue, including any that reproduce or imitate its name, mark, or branding without authorisation.
